Eleanor Van Heyningen

Eleanor leads the Digital Transition team within BBC Distribution & Business Development, planning the shift away from broadcast towards online distribution of  BBC content and services.  She’s held a number of posts at the BBC, including coordinating BBC relationships with Big Tech partners, being Chief of Staff to the BBC’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, and working on the 2016 Charter Review.  That followed ten years in the Civil Service where Eleanor also held variety of roles leading policy teams and advising Ministers. Her career started working in museums, and she has degrees in history and museum studies.
