Karla is responsible for the profitable development of Channel 4’s relationships with distribution and platform partners across the industry. Her role is central to the strategic ambitions of Channel 4 aimed at driving digital growth and transformation, diversifying new business, and enabling Channel 4 to adapt to a digital future in which audiences can find and enjoy their public service content wherever they are.
Prior to working at Channel 4 Karla started her career at Paramount and Universal within Home Entertainment, before launching Channel 4’s in-house DVD label, and in more recent years developing the broadcaster’s broader distribution strategy with major global tech companies, pay TV platforms, TV/device manufacturers, and social platforms.
Karla also represents Channel 4’s interests in joint ventures Everyone TV and YouView.
Karla is passionate about empowering teams to create strong sustainable partnerships ensuring Channel 4 remains at the forefront of the ever-changing media landscape.
