Claire is a senior media advisor and Non-Executive Director in the UK media sector, recognised for her skill in scaling and developing organisations across both commercial and not-for-profit sectors. She is currently Chair for The Film and TV Charity and Charity Digital, and an advisor to Unbound Publishing. She was previously NED for media tech start-up Instrumental, where she supported the company through various funding rounds and for the British film age rating regulator BBFC.
Her executive career includes senior leadership roles in the UK and global television sector, with notable contributions at Fremantle and Shine (now Banijay), along with emerging digital media firms like ChannelFlip, Jamal Edwards/SBTV, and WeAreTV.
In addition to her professional portfolio, she co-hosts media industry podcast The Media Beat with Maureen Kerr. Her career highlight remains the production of the Friskies, the first (and last) Internet Cat Videos Awards.
